New construction roofing and first-time re-roofs across Central Florida. Code-plus underlayments, premium fastening, and the kind of installation details that don't show up in the brochure but matter more than the shingle brand.
Request a Free EstimateWe use the term installation for two specific situations: new-construction roofs going down on bare decking for the first time, and first-time re-roofs where the original system has reached end of life. Both share the same standard — built right from the deck up, never rushed, and never short-cut on the details that determine whether a roof leaks at year five or year twenty-five.
Dimensional and impact-rated systems with synthetic underlayment and engineered ridge ventilation.
Full tile systems with self-adhering underlayment, properly battened or foam-set, and storm-rated fastening.
Premium long-life metal with concealed-fastener systems, properly engineered hips and ridges, and matched accessories.
The brochure shows the shingle. The job is in the details — underlayment, fasteners, flashings, ventilation. That's where roofs are won or lost.
We handle owner-direct installations on custom homes and renovations, and we work with select Central Florida builders who care about the quality of what goes above the framing. Either way, our project lead stays on-site, communicates daily, and walks the finished work with you before we leave.
Installation typically refers to a roof going on for the first time — new construction or a first re-roof. Replacement implies an existing system being torn off and rebuilt. The work itself overlaps; the difference is mostly contextual. Either way, we follow the same code-plus standards.
Most shingle installations take 2–4 days for an average home. Tile and metal systems take longer — typically 4–8 days depending on complexity. We'll commit to a firm timeline in writing with your estimate.
Yes — every Snow & Sons project includes permitting at the local jurisdiction level. We never work without a proper permit, and we coordinate inspections directly with the building department.
You get two layers: the manufacturer's warranty on the roofing material itself (typically 25–50 years depending on product), and our workmanship warranty on the installation. We register the manufacturer warranty on your behalf and provide written documentation of both at project completion.
In most cases, yes. Switching from shingle to metal, or shingle to tile, is common — though tile and metal carry weight and substrate considerations that need to be checked during the estimate. We'll tell you upfront whether your home's structure supports the system you want.
